Welcome to ELITE INK LTD. By booking an appointment, visiting our studio, or using our website, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions, as well as our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.

2. Age Requirements

• You must be at least 18 years old to receive tattoo services
• Valid government-issued photo ID is required at your appointment
• We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone who cannot provide proper identification
• No exceptions will be made, regardless of parental or guardian consent

3. Booking and Appointments

3.1 Deposits

• A non-refundable deposit is required to secure all appointments
• Deposit amounts vary depending on the scope of work
• Deposits will be applied toward your final payment
• Deposits are forfeited if you fail to show up for your appointment without prior notice

3.2 Cancellations and Rescheduling

• We require at least 48 hours notice for cancellations or rescheduling
• Cancellations with less than 48 hours notice will result in forfeiture of your deposit
• Multiple cancellations may result in a requirement for a larger deposit or denial of future bookings
• We understand emergencies occur; please contact us as soon as possible

3.3 Late Arrivals

• Please arrive on time for your appointment
• Late arrivals may result in shortened appointment time or rescheduling
• Appointments running significantly late may be cancelled at our discretion

4. Health and Safety

4.1 Client Responsibilities

You agree to:

• Disclose all relevant medical conditions, allergies, and medications
• Provide accurate health information on consent forms
• Inform us if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or have compromised immunity
• Follow pre-appointment preparation instructions
• Avoid alcohol and blood-thinning medications before your appointment

4.2 Contraindications

We reserve the right to refuse service if you:

• Appear to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs
• Have an active skin infection in the tattoo area
• Present health conditions that make tattooing unsafe
• Do not follow studio policies or artist instructions

5. Tattoo Design and Execution

• Custom designs remain the intellectual property of ELITE INK LTD until paid in full
• We reserve the right to refuse any design we deem inappropriate, offensive, or impossible to execute well
• Design changes on the day of your appointment may result in additional charges or rescheduling
• You have the right to review and approve the stencil placement before we begin
• Once tattooing has begun, refunds will not be provided for buyer's remorse

6. Pricing and Payment

• Prices are provided as estimates and may vary based on final design and time required
• We accept cash, credit cards, and debit cards
• Full payment is due upon completion of your tattoo
• Tips for artists are appreciated but not required
• Pricing may be subject to change; quoted prices are valid for 30 days

7. Aftercare and Touch-Ups

7.1 Aftercare Instructions

• You will receive detailed written aftercare instructions
• Following aftercare instructions is essential for proper healing
• Failure to follow aftercare may result in complications or poor healing
• Contact us immediately if you experience signs of infection or allergic reaction

7.2 Touch-Ups

• Free touch-ups are offered within 6 months if needed due to healing issues
• Touch-ups are only provided if you have followed proper aftercare instructions
• Touch-ups do not cover normal fading over years or damage from sun exposure
• After 6 months, touch-ups are charged at regular rates

8. Photography and Portfolio Use

• We may request permission to photograph your tattoo for portfolio and promotional purposes
• You have the right to decline photography or request anonymity
• If you consent, we may use images on our website, social media, and promotional materials
• You may request removal of your images at any time

9. Liability and Risks

9.1 Acknowledgment of Risks

You acknowledge that tattooing carries inherent risks, including but not limited to:

• Pain, bleeding, and swelling
• Allergic reactions to ink or aftercare products
• Infection if proper aftercare is not followed
• Scarring or keloid formation
• Dissatisfaction with the final result

9.2 Limitation of Liability

• We are not liable for complications resulting from failure to follow aftercare instructions
• We are not liable for allergic reactions to inks or products
• Our maximum liability is limited to the amount paid for the service
• We maintain appropriate insurance coverage for our business operations

10. Studio Policies

• One guest may accompany you to your appointment
• Children are not permitted in the studio during tattoo sessions
• Pets are not permitted (service animals excepted)
• Respectful behavior is required; disruptive clients will be asked to leave
• We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any lawful reason

11. Intellectual Property

• All custom designs created by our artists remain our intellectual property
• You receive a personal license to display your tattoo
• You may not reproduce or sell images of custom designs without permission
• Website content, logos, and branding are protected by copyright

12. Website Use

• Our website is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind
• We are not responsible for technical issues or downtime
• Information on our website may be updated without notice
• Links to third-party websites are provided for convenience only

13. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Ontario.

14. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of updated terms.

15. Severability

If any provision of these Terms & Conditions is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
